This episode made me so happy for Miyamura. Watching him slowly believe that people genuinely want to be his friend was really touching. Hori being so possessive without admitting her feelings was hilarious, and their awkward hand-holding scene was adorable.

The development between characters is really cute and brings back the feeling of first love in high school. It balances the storytelling, making Hori-Miya's interactions feel more natural and heartfelt as their relationship slowly grows.

Miyamura kind of just… fits in more this episode, in a really quiet way. Not just with Hori, but her friends too. And there’s this subtle shift between him and Hori that’s hard to explain, but it definitely changes the feel of the episode in a more emotional way

Nice work, from a dark past to a bond of friendship. 👍

As the story unfolds, we get to see how the characters develop (especially Miyamura). This episode is more serious than the last but it has a lot of chaotic & silly moments that balance it out. It's nice to see not only the characters themselves grow, but also their friendship.

A deeply emotional episode that explores Miyamura's past. The 'Gloomymura' persona is handled with great care, leading to beautiful character growth. Their heartwarming bond during the horror movie makes for some of the best wholesome moments in the series so far.

Oh we finally get a little peek into Miyamura’s past, poor guy. You can really feel his loneliness. And Hori saying “he’s mine, you can’t have him”?? That was something. Looks like she’s slowly realizing her feelings. Are we finally getting real romance now?

Miyamura’s middle school trauma hits hard in this episode. Seeing how Shindo was the only one who truly saw him back then makes their friendship so much more meaningful. The moment Hori claimed Miyamura as "hers" in front of Remi—it was like peak of peak any romcom could get

Emotional healing is portrayed subtly, emerging through consistent presence instead of dramatic conflict. It really shows that genuine connection is sustained not by intense moments, but by the quiet stability of everyday companionship.

Dari romance tiba2 jadi soal kepribadian dan kematangan Hori sama Miyamura. Sumpah ini jadi kayak deep talk sesh gitu tapi gue suka cara menjelaskan keresahan ini, sangat mature sih

This episode deepens character intimacy by allowing Hori and Miyamura’s private selves to collide. The shift in tone from school comedy to quiet vulnerability feels natural, especially during moments when neither character knows how to articulate their feelings.

EPISODE CONTEXT

After the first two episodes established the premise — Hori and Miyamura discovering each other's hidden sides — episode 3 deepens the foundation by focusing on Miyamura's personal history and his growing comfort within a wider social circle. It bridges the initial meet-cute phase and the more relationship-driven developments that dominate the middle stretch of the season. The character dynamics seeded here, particularly with Ishikawa and Remi entering the picture more prominently, become central threads through the rest of the 13-episode run.
