A warm and simple finale that focuses on growth and everyday moments. Not dramatic, but very heartfelt. It wraps up the story nicely, even if it feels a bit rushed. A comforting ending to a sweet series.

This is probably the best rom com out there currently and this is totally a perfect 10/10 anime... the best part about it is how it respects the phrase rom com' meaning i like how it is satisfyingly 50% romance and 50% comedy it has.

What a way to end the season! Although there are moments from the manga that was not in this first season, it still captured the closeness of the characters very well. It's not just a romance story, but also a story about friends. Thank you, Miyamura & friends!

Honestly, this final episode is so emotional. Graduation feels so real and touching. I love seeing Miyamura's growth from the beginning until he finally finds his happiness. A very sweet ending for such an amazing series. I'm going to miss them so much!

So this beautiful series comes to a perfect end with everyone moving forward. It’s honestly been soul-soothing for me. Definitely a must-watch, it really touches your heart. Only thing I wondered was why we never saw much of Miyamura’s parents. Still worth every second.

This is why Horimiya is considered the peak level for romcoms just how can someone make this beautiful series and man it was just peak no words can describe this anime .

The anime entails a refreshing masterclass in the "don't judge a book by its cover" trope. It ditches dragged-out misunderstandings for genuine communication, organic chemistry, and a top-tier supporting cast. Pure, wholesome, and paced like a dream

Horimiya is one of the better "slice of life" animes out there. The characters are well written and extremely relatable in personalities, goals, and shortcomings. None of them feel like they're written just for the sake of moving the plot forward.

The entire character development leading to the finale is very refreshing. General rom com animes can go over the top with repetitive character design and storyline but this one is different. A very wholesome and sweet amalgamation of the characters journey leading to graduation.

Horimiya is a rare breed of romantic comedy that understands a fundamental truth: the most interesting part of a relationship isn’t the confession—it’s everything that comes after. By stripping away the tired tropes of "will-they-won’t-they" stalling, the series delivers a story

Episode 13 of Horimiya is a quiet, emotional farewell to high school. As graduation nears, it reflects on growth, friendship, and finding where you belong. Soft, heartfelt, and nostalgic, it beautifully captures the bittersweet feeling of moving forward.

This episode (13), the last episode, brought a lot of emotions. It really captures the anxiousness, sadness, and happiness of high school students about to start a new chapter in their lives. It feels complete, at the same time, it leaves you wanting more.

Episode 13: As graduation nears, Miyamura looks back on the past year, the growth he’s experienced, and the new life and connections he’s found. It’s a sweet, emotional wrap-up that leaves a comforting, nostalgic feeling.

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the thirteenth and final episode, this directly follows Episode 12's forward-looking conversation between Hori and Miyamura about their future, bringing the season's romantic and personal arcs to a definitive close. The episode functions as a culmination rather than a resolution of new conflict, giving earned emotional weight to the friendships and growth built across all twelve preceding episodes. There is nothing after this — it's the series finale, designed to leave viewers with closure and warmth.
