kallen_kozuki_173★★★☆☆EP 1you can really feel the history in the coffee shop scenes and the way the animation handles the blush on her face when she steps out looks very sharp
Sakurako, a widow, fills her days running a small, cozy coffee shop called Sakurai, the kind of place with sentimental value and a loyal regulars crowd. Then a massive amusement park opens next door, and suddenly nobody's coming in. When the park's owner announces plans to demolish the whole area and replace it with a shopping mall, Sakurako refuses to go down without a fight. Her solution: turn the café into a cosplay-themed establishment, with her and the staff dressing up in various costumes to draw in new customers over the summer. It's a small-business-versus-corporate-giant story wrapped inside a very adult package. The setup is genuinely charming in a low-stakes kind of way: there's a real underdog quality to watching someone defend something they love through increasingly creative means. The tone leans into lighthearted sensuality rather than anything too intense, so it doesn't feel gratuitous so much as playful. If you've watched Cafe Junkie or Cosplay Cafe and appreciated that blend of slice-of-life warmth with adult content, this sits comfortably in that same space. Fans of Love Selection who like their hentai with a bit of actual story framing will probably find it more engaging than the average OVA. It's only two episodes, adapted from a visual novel by Space-X, so it doesn't overstay its welcome. The cosplay variety keeps things visually interesting, and the café backdrop gives it more personality than most entries in the genre manage.

ghetsis_325★★★★☆EP 1Sakurako looks amazing in the waitress uniform, and it is pretty funny seeing her try to act all professional while clearly dying inside from the shame of it all.
postman_273★★★★☆EP 1the business drama with ocean land feels a bit rushed and you mostly just want to see more of the cosplay stuff since that is the whole point of the title
riza_hawkeye★★★☆☆EP 1watching how sakurako is so dedicated to her late husband and her struggle with the embarrassment of that first costume made me want to cheer for her
sakurabloom★★★☆☆EP 1that moment sakurako actually put on the outfit to save her shop was surprisingly sweet and the art style for the character designs looks really good for an old ova
chad_champion_494★★★★☆EP 1It spends a lot of time on the setup and the business plan, which might be slow for some, but the character interactions at the arcade were decent.
talon_266★★★★☆EP 1Having the widow transform her traditional coffee shop into a cosplay cafe just to beat the corporate competition is a funny concept that works
rubeus★★★★☆EP 1The cafe staff came through for Sakurako and seeing them all agree to the cosplay plan for the shop was the highlight for me
james_345★★★★☆EP 1The contrast between the bright new amusement park and the old school charm of the Sakurai shop makes you root for the small shop owners
nianzol_nihility★★★☆☆EP 1The way the ladies got so nervous about the new uniforms was funny and the atmosphere at the cafe felt warm before the drama started
sailor_aluminum_seiren_391★★★★☆EP 1This episode surprised me because I expected just a typical adult OVA, but the actual story about Sakurako saving her business is surprisingly solid. The balance between the cozy slice of life vibes and the actual adult scenes feels right, and it doesn't get too intense. I liked how the staff came together to support the new cosplay theme.
giovanni★★★☆☆EP 1I felt for Sakurako trying to keep her husband's memory alive and her awkwardness with the costumes was sweet
enenra_enigma_53★★★☆☆EP 1Saving the local shop from that corporate mall plan makes the stakes feel real and seeing the cosplay idea start up was a fun way to fight back
raijin_rider★★★★☆EP 1That Ocean Land owner is a total jerk for trying to tear down a whole neighborhood and the way they use cosplay to attract customers is clever
raiju_rider★★★☆☆EP 1The plot about a shopping arcade being replaced by a mall is predictable but the character designs for the cafe staff are nice enough
near_nemesis_114★★★☆☆EP 1The animation during the close ups of the costumes looked really polished and the voice acting made the embarrassing parts feel very believable
aizen_antagonist★★★★☆EP 1Sakurako is really going through it, but that nurse costume she wore at the end was definitely the best one yet
suzaku_kururugi_172★★★☆☆EP 1That developer guy is such a jerk for trying to tear down a shop full of husband memories just to build a mall and he deserves everything coming to him
vegeta_vanquisher_45★★★★☆EP 1I was caught off guard by the contrast between her being a classy widow and then suddenly having to wear that skimpy maid outfit to save the family business
quincy_quiver★★★★☆EP 1I found that bunny girl outfit on Sakurako way better than expected and the way she blushed made the whole scene feel so much more intense
