REIII! 🤪 That transformation from "pretty boy" to "strange face" had me rolling! It’s so good to see the gang back. The chemistry between Yui and Chie is already top-tier. 🎒✨

The animation totally skyrocketed compared from the 1985 adaptation. The old gag that may not be funny were turned with a new touch. Some of the scenes from the original 1st episode were still catered hence, the exaggerating captions and sound effects were no longer used.

In my opinion the episode was fantastic, from the opening to the introduction of the characters. The different characters are easily recognizable. The voice acting and backgrounds are top-notch, I give a thumbs up from here.

The introduction is intentionally absurd, but it borders on overwhelming. The character quirks are exaggerated immediately, which works for comedy but may alienate viewers who prefer gradual character establishment.

I already know this anime is going to be one of those “turn off brain and enjoy” experiences. The comedy is cringe but weirdly worked on me. I don’t even fully understand what “Kimen Flash” is but I will be here to support it
