The way the animation shifts during the close-ups is really something, and it captures those small expressions so well. You really get a sense of how flustered they both are during that locker scene at the end, which is nice to see. It is good to see a lead who isn't totally dense for once even if he is still incredibly awkward

A simple hand touch in the library was basically a death sentence for his brain and it looked so embarrassing to go through

The art is so bright and bubbly and it makes the whole school setting feel so much more inviting than other shows lately

You can really tell he has it bad for her and it makes those awkward silences so much more painful to watch

I was expecting more of a typical slow burn, but the chemistry in the rooftop scene actually felt pretty natural. My face was getting hot just watching them talk

That ending caught everyone off guard because the childhood friend showed up just in time to ruin the mood
