It is funny how Michio spends all this money on a big house, but he basically turned the entrance into a trap so nobody can ever see his secret teleport trick. It really highlights how he only cares about Roxanne and his own efficiency rather than making any friends in this new city and the whole shopping trip felt very methodical.
