my heart actually broke when Shin called him a quitter because Sano was just trying to help him out in that alleyway and he didn't deserve that at all

I really felt for Sano when he talked about his mom and how his dad changed after the accident because it explains so much about why he acts the way he does now

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 4 planted the seeds of this tension by giving Mizuki and Sano a quieter, more personal moment away from the group and introducing Julia and Rio into the mix.
