Guilty Crown Episode 22: Prayer:Convergence

Inori disappearing after finally becoming fully herself again is cruel work. Guilty crown may be messy but when it wants to emotionally destroy you, it absolutely succeeds T_T

The finale basically said humanity survives but your happiness doesn’t LOL every episode kept taking things away from Shu until literally all he had left was memories. The soundtrack during the ending scenes carried so much emotion it’s insane

Okay, that was a pretty good way to wrap everything✨ But to be honest, I wouldn’t call it the “perfect” ending as I think a few parts were rushed, but the battle scenes definitely made up for it! And that ending song when everything started collapsing was also really beautiful and perfect for the scene, I literally got goosebumps! But all in all, not a bad way to end the series. A solid 7/10 for this episode and the while series🔥

I really enjoyed the series and Shu’s character development. He evolves from a typical shonen protagonist into a true final boss after a significant loss u.u. The ending is powerful and bittersweet, but it aligns well with the story.

Guilty Crown ended beautifully, but bittersweetly. The ending is still open-ended about exactly what happened to Shu, but we all know what happened to Inori. This show had its ups and downs and is often misunderstood, but I truly suggest giving it a watch. 9/10.

I find the clash between Shu and Gai short, it's lacking, and it ended fast. I'm waiting for a choreographed clash even with Mana. I'm expecting more of that. This episode is good, but it felt rushed. But overall it's a good ending, though it lacks a bit for a last episode.
