Great watch, solid pacing and humor, establishing tone for the rest of the show. oh and the music is a vibe too. overall nailed that 90s japanese feel✨

This episode is just chaos in the best way. Eikichi Onizuka comes in loud, shameless, and honestly ridiculous, but you can’t ignore him. It’s funny, but you can already tell there’s more to him than he lets on.

The 1st ep was a great and strong start for the legend's intro! The animation was quite impressive for a '90s series. A mixture of comedy and serious tone in this show is perfectly done. Pleasantly surprised to see that L'Arc-en-Ciel did the OP with simple yet smooth direction.

episode is chaotic but fun. Onizuka comes off as immature at first, not gonna lie, but also weirdly confident. His goal for becoming a teacher is kinda ridiculous, but it makes the episode entertaining. The pacing is fast and the humor lands well.

GTO is one of few OG classic anime, where you can just watch from any episode, and it will still entertain you, literally peak gem anime.

GTO is about Eikichi Onizuka, a former gang member who becomes a teacher for all the wrong reasons. Loud and often inappropriate, but with a good heart, he takes on a broken school system with honesty. Funny, messy, and surprisingly touching right from the first episode.
