The dogeza pact they made to recreate the Kirara scenes was so over the top, and seeing those muscular guys cry tears of joy over an anime character is the most Grand Blue thing possible

You have to feel for Iori when he realized the game Kirara is from was actually adult content because he looked like his entire soul left his body right there in the room

The transition from a peaceful hot spring scene to Karina being a total creep about the girls proportions was so jarring and Shiori looked like she wanted to disappear into the water

I was laughing so hard when Shiori essentially deported her own brother to Palau just so she wouldnt have to deal with the marriage chaos at the inn because that girl is the only one with any common sense

Watching Iori and Kohei strike those heroic poses to protect Shiori only to end up bonding over Blue Spring with the Germans was such a weird turn of events for this inn trip

I cant stop thinking about that 96 percent Spirytus shot and the way their faces turned purple because this show is just pure chaos for making water look like literal poison

I really didn't see the twist with Karina being a literal scholar of hentai culture coming, but the way she just casually declared she was marrying Iori to study him is exactly the kind of madness I missed. Shiori giving him the passport back just to get him out of the house and away from her was such a cold move

The look on their faces when they realized those huge foreign guys were just obsessed with an R18 game instead of stalking Shiori was the biggest misunderstanding ever and Iori trying to use that translation app made it worse

That marriage proposal from Karina is actually the most unhinged thing this show has done and seeing Iori realize she just wants to study him like a lab rat for his sister complex was too much

So simple yet so unhinged at the same time, lmfao. Loved this episode, and the story flow made the conclusion even funnier. Must watch!

All for the dang passport. 😭 This was just too funny, and the buildup made everything even more ridiculous. I loved this episode so much!

Dang, this episode made the ending so worth it. It was just too unhinged and chaotic. I loved it, though. This anime never fails to make me laugh.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Following Episode 2's homecoming setup, Episode 3 delivers the payoff of that detour as Iori's passport retrieval mission reaches its chaotic peak. This episode closes out the home visit obstacle that has been blocking the group's travel plans since the season began. With Palau confirmed as the next destination in Episode 4, this episode functions as the comedic pressure release valve before the season shifts into diving-focused territory.
