Synopsis
When her husband leaves on a business trip, Haruka Miyama, a wife who's always treated Hiro, her best friend's son, like family, finds that dynamic shattered as Hiro confesses that his feelings for her go way beyond familial. What follows is a slow unraveling of boundaries, Haruka knows this is wrong on every level, she genuinely tries to shut it down without crushing him, but the situation pulls her in directions she didn't expect. The core tension here isn't really the physical stuff, it's watching Haruka's internal conflict play out in real time. She's not some passive character: she's actively fighting against what's happening, which makes the whole thing hit differently than your typical hentai OVA setup. Studio Nur puts real effort into the character designs and facial expressions, so those moments of hesitation and guilt actually land. The soundtrack does solid work too, building atmosphere during the quieter, more dramatic beats. If you've seen stuff like Ane wa Yanmama Junyuu-chuu or Haha Sange and appreciated the emotional weight mixed in with the adult content, this one operates in a similar space. It leans into the forbidden desire angle and the moral weight of what's happening rather than just rushing past it. Not something you'd recommend to everyone obviously, but if you're into this particular subgenre and want something where the characters feel like they have actual stakes and conflicting emotions, Gobaku delivers on that front.

samebito_samurai_84★★★☆☆EP 1The way Haruka keeps trying to say no while the husband is away makes the whole thing feel so much more forbidden and risky
yamabiko_yamato_40★★☆☆☆EP 1I think it felt a bit rushed because of the short runtime and it didnt really give the characters enough time to breathe before getting straight to it
gobta_goblin_154★★★★☆EP 1This character animation looks way better than the actual story and you can tell they put the budget into the art instead of the writing
