Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! Episode 13: Episode 13

A conclusion that leaves your heart feeling so warm. They don't contrive an out-of-place dramatic ending; they simply bring the story to a realistic and incredibly sweet resolution. The music in the final scenes is beautiful, and you finish the episode with a huge smile on your face, feeling that all of Nakamura's suffering was worth it.

This episode is PEAK CINEMA. Gorgeous visuals, beautiful direction, and excellent voice acting~ Kobayashi-san’s performance as Nakamura-kun has been great this entire season, but his line delivery in this ep in particular is simply INCREDIBLE 🥺💕 I really felt ALL of his feelings!! 🥹 Don’t miss the post-credits scenes, btw! I want a Season 2 SO BAD!!!

Episode 13 is a bittersweet but very satisfying conclusion to Go for it, Nakamura-kun!!.

After the emotional intensity of Episode 12, this finale takes a more reflective and gentle approach. Instead of forcing a dramatic resolution, it focuses on acceptance, growth, and the quiet continuation of life. Nakamura’s emotional journey feels believable and grounded, especially in how he processes his feelings rather than simply letting them disappear.

What stood out most to me were the subtle emotional moments — especially Nakamura revisiting his memories of Hirose. The combination of visuals, music, and voice acting made those scenes incredibly impactful without ever feeling exaggerated.

The ending itself is understated, but that’s what makes it work. It doesn’t try to close every door, but instead leaves you with a sense that life — and these characters — are simply moving forward.

A calm, emotional, and thoughtful finale that fits the tone of the series perfectly.
