Etsuko really threw all professional ethics out the window just to get that perfect shot of the hostage situation and it is actually kind of wild how far she went for a news story

I found it hilarious how Etsuko got annoyed at the police and the hostage taker for being too boring during their standoff, so she just took matters into her own hands to spice up the broadcast. Her complete lack of empathy for Mayumi is wild to see and it makes her such a unique lead for this kind of show.

standoff animation felt a bit stiff and the way she tricked damesuke was almost too easy to be believable even for this series

you really have to respect how dedicated she is to her job even when she is doing the most unethical things possible to get the best footage

that moment where she decides to just jump into the middle of the standoff to make the news more exciting was the highlight of the whole thing

my jaw stayed open watching her treat a life or death situation like a movie set but it fits her character perfectly even if it is uncomfortable

Etsuko manipulates the police and the criminal at the same time, which is fascinating even if her morals are completely non-existent throughout this whole episode.

Etsuko is actually terrifying because she cares more about the camera angle than the girl being held hostage and that makes for a weirdly dark dynamic

damesuke taking the boss daughter hostage felt way too rushed and the transition to the adult scenes was a bit jarring for the story

i was laughing so hard when etsuko just walked into the crime scene and started directing the hostage taker because the news ratings were too low for her liking

watching this woman use her body to manipulate the entire hostage standoff is just wild and it really shows how far she will go for fame

It was pretty wild seeing how Etsuko used her own body to distract Damesuke, and the fact that she did it all for a television broadcast is insane.

those cops just stood there and let her take over the entire negotiation which was ridiculous and fits the tone of her character perfectly

I felt gross when Etsuko manipulated Damesuke into that position because she literally does not care about Mayumi at all and just wants the footage

that scene where the cameraman had to keep filming while everything went down was so uncomfortable and funny at the same time

I cannot believe Etsuko actually walked into that hostage situation and started stripping just to get better ratings for her news station while the cops watched

The part where she uses her high heels to trip the guy into a better position for the broadcast was hilarious and she really is a professional at being a terrible human

I cannot believe she convinced the kidnapper to let her direct the scene and she is easily the most manipulative person I have seen in an anime for a long time

Mayumi looked so traumatized in the corner and Etsuko just ignored her to focus on the lens and it was such a dark turn for a show like this

It felt like the hostage plot was just an excuse for the fanservice, and the transition from the stand-off to the bedroom stuff was way too fast, making the stakes feel non-existent

EPISODE CONTEXT

As the second and final episode of a two-part OVA, this entry directly follows the introduction of Etsuko's unorthodox methods and brings her arc to its conclusion. There is no follow-up episode — this is the series' endpoint, meaning all established tension and character dynamics resolve here. Viewers who skipped Episode 1 will lack the foundational context for Etsuko's motivations and the satirical setup the finale depends on.
