You can see the tension building up between the sister and Ai the whole time he is laying there in bed and it pays off

Mio keeping that grumpy attitude the whole time was pretty funny and it gets serious once the three of them are finally together in that room

I thought the bathroom scene looked way better than anything else in the episode and the lighting during the water shots was surprisingly good

Ai taking care of him while he is stuck with that leg injury is pretty sweet and you can tell she really cares about him

I really hated how Mio was acting during the whole nursing scene because Ai was just trying to help him and it made the dynamic feel so awkward

Ending the episode like that really lived up to the title and the animation during the pool scene looked much better than the first episode

Having only five members in the tennis club makes every interaction feel so much more important and Mio really needs to chill out

Ai being such a devoted club member makes the whole situation with Shuichi feel a lot more personal and the pacing was fast

I wasn't expecting the drama with his injury to feel so real, but seeing him struggle to walk while Ai supported him was a nice touch.

The way the episode handled Shuichi being sidelined from tennis because of his injury actually felt pretty grounded and seeing Ai step up as his caretaker while Mio gets increasingly jealous made for a lot of tension before that wild ending scene in his room finally brought everything to a head and changed their relationship for good because the drama felt surprisingly heavy

Shuichi getting hurt in that accident changed everything and the way Mio reacted to it was pretty heavy

Mio acted so moody the whole time that the ending scene came as even more of a shock and the tennis club drama is actually interesting

Watching the tension in the club room made me realize how much Ai actually cares about his recovery

I really felt for Shuichi during that rehab scene and seeing Ai help him out was so sweet before things got weird

The contrast between Ai taking care of him and Mio acting out was intense, and that final scene in the bedroom really shifted the dynamic for everyone.

you can really see the marriage falling apart when peter calls her careless for the kidnapping instead of actually trying to find his son

finding out carrie used a fake identity and fake references for the nanny job actually made me feel sick for marissa

it was so satisfying when jenny actually listened to marissa, because every other person in this show is just blaming her for what happened to milo

i am so suspicious of peter after he lied about that conference and then started acting like he was hiding a ransom payment or something

the reporters turning on marissa like that was so frustrating because she just wants her kid back and they are talking about book deals

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 1, 'Do Whatever You Want...', established the foundational dynamics between Shuichi, Ai, and Mio, putting the emotional and physical groundwork in place. This second episode deepens those connections, functioning as the emotional core of the series where tensions and desires are brought fully to the surface. It directly sets up Episode 3, '...I Really Love You', signaling that the final chapter will deliver the emotional resolution this middle installment carefully earns.
