It is wild how high the production quality is for an older OVA like this. The way the light hits the restaurant windows while Satomi is working really sets a melancholy mood. Wataru is a total mess for chasing Mai while treating everyone else like a distraction, but the tension with Satomi felt very grounded and adult and real.
