Vegeta was utterly brutal with those Namekians, and I found myself almost admiring his cunning when he stashed the Dragon Ball right under Frieza's nose in the water. It’s hard for me to reconcile this cold, strategic killer with the anti-hero he eventually becomes, especially seeing how flawlessly his brutal plan is unfolding.
