The way the tiger helped Gohan build the second boat made me really happy because he finally had a friend on that island

Even if this is filler, Gohan being out in the wild with just a tiger is some of the best development for him, and the animation of the waves was cool

Piccolo splitting in two just to beat himself up is the most Piccolo way to train for the Saiyans and the energy blasts looked great

I felt so bad for Gohan when the eagle shredded his first raft and he had to start all over from nothing

Piccolo hallucinating Raditz really shows how much that fight got into his head and messed with him while he was in the wasteland

You really see how much Gohan has grown since Piccolo left him out there alone and the way he uses his sword to chop that tree shows he is getting way stronger but then that storm comes and takes everything away from him and it makes you realize he is still just a kid who misses his parents and wants his mom

I think Piccolo fighting himself to get stronger really showed how much he is struggling against his own head during this image training

That storm at the end really destroyed everything Gohan worked on and it was so sad seeing the mast snap while he was trying to sail home

Seeing that tiger bring Gohan some meat after he helped it out was actually pretty sweet and showed Gohan is a good kid
