I can not believe how much Goku grew up during that skip and he actually looks like a man now plus that weird pink blob in his dream was super creepy

The training skip felt way too fast and they should have shown more of what happened in those three years because it feels like we missed everything

Android 17 and 18 are officially here and they did not waste any time taking out Dr Gero and the designs for these two are so cool

Seeing Piccolo and the rest of the gang after the skip was awesome and everyone looks so much more mature and ready for this fight

I am still thinking about that weird pink monster Goku saw in his dream while he was sick and it felt so out of place for this arc and then seeing 17 and 18 finally wake up was massive because they just killed their own creator and Vegeta is still being way too cocky about fighting them

When Androids 17 and 18 just turned on Gero, I was absolutely floored, like, did he not see that coming at all? The way they just *disposed* of him in a blink really shows how little control he actually had, even over his own creations.

The pacing in this episode was all over the place and jumping three years ahead without showing any of the actual hard work felt like a huge letdown

Vegeta acting like he can take on anything is classic, but those androids seem like they are on a whole different level than what we have seen before

Yamcha and Tien saying Goku is stronger just because he got taller is the funniest thing ever and I wonder if that logic works for everyone else in the tournament

It is a bit weird how the show skipped all that training, but seeing Goku as a full adult now makes things feel much more serious

EPISODE CONTEXT

Directly following 'Follow Dr. Gero,' where the Z-Fighters uncovered Dr. Gero's true identity and his plan to activate additional androids, episode 133 serves as the critical bridge between discovery and consequence. This is the Android Saga at a pivotal tipping point, the heroes know what's coming but may be powerless to stop it. The episode feeds directly into 'Goku's Assassin,' where the fallout from these events begins in earnest.
