The ending of the founders of Ishigami village was more than heartbreaking, a really horrible reminder of how scary nature can be. It stays realistic to what can happen when in the wild, but was really saddening, especially after all the happy scenes lined up just before that.

This chapter was 103% emotional. The way Senku thanked Gen for his loyalty was incredible and something out of the ordinary. The fact that something so simple could make someone so happy was a wonderful gesture. I won't talk about the gift so you can discover it.
