The sulfuric acid angel was so enchanting! I really loved the animation around her and the zombie like state she had to emphasize the acid's intense corrosive nature. But why didn't Senku help Ginro when he was walking into the acid lake lol

Damnn I really miss the old Ginro, he was scared but always there for his comrades when they needed him the most. And he took pride in his accomplishments no matter how minimal; he was so much more chill back then, I feel like recent seasons have turned him very stereotypical.

This episode had it all from conflict and resolution! The setup was resolved really fast and didn't feel dragged out at all. It was really concise, with a clear goal for the protagonists alongside a path towards it. The characters achieved their goal and improved themselves too.

Senku and his friends set out to find a crucial chemical needed to create the all-cure medicine for Ruri, Kohaku’s older sister. But this crucial chemical is so deadly that they need to be extra careful or they'll die instantly.

Glass blowing is a totally awesome . Suika's "blurry eyes" being fixed by lenses had the fans in tears. It's a wholesome mix of "Aha!" science and pure heart. Watching them fail at glass making until they get a mad man involved was so relatable. 10/10 for the feels.

The pacing picks up here. Every invention feels like leveling up in a game. You start seeing how far they’ve come from literally nothing.

Tsukasa’s long white hair flowing? Intimidating af. Animation on his strength and calm face stunning. Atmosphere powerful and philosophical. His presence hit like a boss character intro.

Episode 12 follows Senku, Chrome, Kohaku, and Ginro as they venture into a dangerous acidic spring to collect a vital ingredient for their cure. The tension is real and raw, and overcoming fear together makes their bond feel earned.

Dang that sulfuric acid maiden! I already predicted she’d transform into a melted mess since she represents acid. Good thing Ginro stepped up, or Chrome would be in the eternal slumbers of Sulfuric Acid-chan! That green gas is no joke; the tension was real.

The cave was actually terrifying, that gas is no joke. Ginro being scared the whole time was funny but also realistic ngl. The tournament coming up next week looks hype. Animation during the tense cave scenes was solid.

For someone tasked with protecting an entire village he doesn't exactly seem the best suited for it. Or perhaps it's the fact that he can't see the enemy he's supposed to be protecting the others from that's the problem. Still a crazy good anime.

There’s action, smart planning, and a good balance of humor and tension. It feels like everything is slowly coming together. Civilization is getting closer to a big breakthrough.

The chemistry between characters is solid. Production value stays consistent, and the color palette in the lab scenes is very well curated. Science looks cool.

This episode felt more like buildup than payoff. It’s not bad, but it doesn’t hit as hard as the stronger science-hype episodes.
The focus shifts more toward preparation and tension, which makes it interesting, but not super exciting.

Just finished watching Episode 12 and it was really interesting. I liked how it focused more on teamwork and trust between the characters. Senku’s smart thinking was fun to watch again, and it’s cool seeing how everyone slowly starts believing in his plans.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting right at the halfway point of the 24-episode season, this episode transitions the Kingdom of Science from breakthrough discoveries into the grueling reality of resource acquisition, following the scientific wins of 'Clear World.' It tests the group's cohesion under life-threatening conditions and directly sets the stage for 'Masked Warrior,' where defending their hard-won progress becomes the next critical challenge.
