The best thing you could hope for from an episode dedicated to Makoto. His character has evolved from the clever kid who helps from the sidelines to a protagonist with his own story, demons, and the courage to face them. His bond with Chiroppmon is one of the most beautiful in all of Digimon, and the fact that they both have their own evolution theme makes it even better.

i really love that whenever we get a deeply emotional episode, it always revolves around makoto. the battle was just alright, but seeing chiropmon evolved made it all worth it
