I LOVE LAIOS I LOVE LAIOS I love Laios! Seeing his sister turn into a full-blown monster and him just saying 'that's so cool' is insane. Holy shit, Falin has become a monster who can cast spells how cool is that! and Shuro's unfiltered thoughts about Laios basically mean 'I hate you, you idiot!' Shuro just doesn't get that Laios isn't stupid, he's autistic bro you have to understand. Senshi holding the meal the whole time was so senshi. and oh I love Kabru's gay ass so much. And what is his business being that charming at the end? 'Now you remember my name? Don't forget it again.' Okay gay??

Dungeon Meshi had already hinted at a maturity beyond its playful surface, but in this episode, it's proves how cruel it may become. In last few episodes the show shifted from comic adventure to serious fantasy, and this episode is the apex of that transition, and it hits hard.
