It's only second of episode and it's already keep me hook into the story! A new character is introduced and this adds a heavy, tense situation. He may look like creepy but never underestimate him🥶. That direct challenge to Light was awesome!💥

While Light is still figuring out how the book works, it's so entertaining to see L straight up ask Kira to kill him from his voice. Also, L's introduction and hype is so incredible and valid.

The populace decides to name their new hero of justice as Kira. While Light ponders over keeping the Death Note hidden from others, an adversary, “L”, appears suddenly to catch. With his plain deduction, he pinpointed Kira’s whereabouts. And now the audience will await a showdown

I completely underestimated how quick this would happen again as I thought we would have some time to see Light operate as a secret god from the shadows, but no the show has taken him out of the shadows and in your face and said, “You think you’re untouchable? Bet.”

The mind game officially starts here, and it’s seriously gripping. Watching L gather information step by step feels smart and satisfying, but what makes it better is how Light doesn’t break under pressure. Instead of fear, you can feel his excitement growing.

L's introduction is a total masterpiece. The way he just baited Light into revealing his location with that TV stunt? Insane. I didn't think he'd fall for it so fast, but his ego is his literal downfall. That ending stare-down between them gave me pure chills.

It's amazing how Yagami did all of his responsibilities as a student, son and holder of Death Note. Meanwhile, L has started his moves to determine who the mastermind is.

Episode 2 sharpens the psychological duel, as L’s clever broadcast trap forces Light out of the shadows and reveals his growing arrogance. The cat‑and‑mouse tension feels like the perfect setup for the legendary rivalry you’ll enjoy dissecting step by step.
