The third episode introduces Seiko, Momo's grandma. I won't spoil it, but let's just say she's not your typical grandma.

This episode is slower paced, which made for a nice break from all the action in the first 2 episodes. I also like that they keep the typical training phase that you would find in other animes.

Again, lots of humor and back and forth between Momo and Okarun.

at difference of the earlier episode i feel this fresh, dynamic and amusing and give that idea and how works this universe, how the new character through his experience and knowledge, guide the protagonists, a few exaggerated in some cases, but at the end i liked

Hot grandma.
Hehe.

I really didn't expect Momo's grandma to be such a Goat! I really love the chemistry between Momo and Okarun as they start to trust each other more. The tension between Turbo Granny and Momo is getting really intense too!

The way to get rid of the curse on Okarun is really funny. Okarun's chemistry with Ayase's Grandma is also suitable, even more funny. The story is even cooler because there is Ayase's grandma.

The introduction of granny Seiko changes the whole dynamic. The lore about Turbo Granny adds great world-building. It’s a bit slower on action but high on character development.

A slower episode than the rest but still such a banger!! Definitely was not expecting the grandma’s character like that, but she’s such a baddie!! I also love the steady pacing, followed by the growing plot they have here. They slowly but surely give us more world building and what the characters could do!

The underlying dark tones in the story and animation makes this a very entertaining watch. Even with less action, your attention stays with the characters. Okarun is hilarious in this episode as Grandma Ayase is putting him and Momo through the churner to make them strong.

Grandma? More like mommy!! I'd let ghosts haunt me just for her to do her medium stuff on me any day xD this episode gives so much comedic relief too. More than I actually wanted it to LOL

Grandma Seiko finally shows up! Okarun begins to show surprising potential beneath his timid personality, hinting that there is much more to him than nervous rambling and occult trivia.

The story’s playfulness grows with every scene. It isn’t just spooky or sci‑fi , it’s both, and it’s utterly unpredictable.

Episode 3 builds up the hype for the upcoming confrontation between the Ayase, Takakura and Turbo Granny. This episode greatly shows the growing fondness of Takakura and Ayase towards each other. The introduction of Granny was greatly done for the upcoming fight.

Clashing grannies only works in this sense! Momo, Okarun, and Granny are so funny. Like how could you not be snarky while being possessed by Turbo granny? Or even just dealing with her? And I love how Momo's granny is such a menace, I see where she gets it from.

The duo tries to get Okarun’s "balls" back from Turbo Granny, but she’s faster than a runaway train. We get a glimpse into Momo’s home life with her "cool" Grandma, who is a literal Baddie. The banter is top-tier; the tension is rising!

Didn't Expect to get in my feelings this early?!?! The emotional core starts peeking through the chaos! Okarun finding his backbone is the character I live for.

keeps the chaos high but adds more heart. The action is wild, the powers are getting clearer, and the creepy vibes are strong. Momo and Okarun’s bond is slowly growing, which makes the crazy moments hit even harder. Weird, intense, and surprisingly wholesome.

Here comes the clash of 2 grannies, Episode 3 was kinda wild tbh, everything escalated way faster than I expected and it just kept getting more chaotic as it went on. I didn’t think the emotional parts would hit this early, but they actually did, which surprised me.

EPISODE CONTEXT

After Episodes 1 and 2 threw Momo and Okarun headfirst into alien and ghost encounters culminating in the Flatwoods Monster confrontation, Episode 3 strategically decelerates to introduce a key player in Seiko Ayase while building toward the Turbo Granny conflict. Sitting at the quarter-mark of this 12-episode season, it functions as the connective tissue between the series' explosive opening act and the escalating supernatural battles ahead. The groundwork laid here — training, planning, and relationship-building — is essential setup that pays dividends in the episodes to come.
