And the ending scene was unexpected — got me.

Higashi villagers = Punching bags NPC,

Pretty funny that their purpose is just to get massacre. It almost felt like they were wiped out in the first episode but i guess not.

A slower episode compared to what came before

Dera dan Yama membuat saya makin penasaran sama jenis-jenis Daemon. Si Ivan juga super cool dan sinister. They are brewing a more tensed plot. Nggak sabar nunggu episode berikutnya.

yama san seemed like such a fun character and seeing him get taken out by iwan like that was a total gut punch to end the week

hana asking yuru to teach her how to fight was such a good moment for her character and it feels like she is finally done being a bystander

the way that wall had a razor thin cut down the middle was such a cool way to tease the spatial powers before the actual massacre happened

that cliffhanger with the blood on the ground was so dark after seeing yama san get stabbed through the chest out of nowhere

i wasn't expecting the show to go full horror movie with the grandma in okinawa, but that spider daemon reveal was easily the most unsettling part of the episode for me. it makes the whole trip feel like a massive death trap and now i'm just worried about asa getting lured into something she can't handle alone

asuma clearly hates his uncle and it makes me wonder if he is going to switch sides soon because he looked so done with all those insults about his mom

yosa no iwan is absolutely terrifying with those spatial cuts and he just wiped out the entire village remains without breaking a sweat

i really don't feel bad for those villagers getting slaughtered, because they were totally fine with sacrificing kids earlier so it feels like karma finally caught up to them
