This episode felt like it was primarily aimed at setting up the dominoes for the next episode, which was the subsequent 'part 2'. The music here was absolutely peak though, and the vibe isn't dampened in the slightest.

Just like with Jet, we start to delve deeper into Spike's past, with the audience being told very little about his or Faye's intentions. With the group splitting, everyone feels unfamiliar in their sudden shift in trajectory! This episode has been very plot relevant so far.

Holy vibe check, Callisto as a planet is immediately likeable and opens the door to the idea that different planets have separate culture/atmospheres. This will be really entertaining to watch when the main cast pursue different interplanetary bounties !

Episode twelve brings us to Callisto, different human cultures seem to have moved to planets whose climate mirrors their earth's equivalent, in this case Jupiter's moon is similar to an old Soviet state.

Spike’s past creeps closer and the tension is THICK. The atmosphere turns colder, heavier. Dialogue feels loaded even when characters say very little. The series is clearly building toward something big.

Hostage situation goes sideways fast. Spike moves through it like it’s just another Tuesday, calm and unreadable. Faye brings attitude, Jet handles the pressure. The tension builds but the jazz keeps it smooth. It’s serious but still effortlessly cool.🕶️
