robert_rifle★★★☆☆EP 1Natsume whispering for him to be quiet because people might hear was actually the most stressful part of the whole episode
What sounds deceptively simple at first brings three people together over the course of a single summer. Asa is a transfer student dealing with her parents' divorce, using swim club as a distraction. Hajime is the kind of guy who notices people: specifically, he convinces Asa to model for his photography, and things develop from there. Then there's Natsume, a younger girl who gets pulled into their orbit almost by accident. The unusual setup is that both girls know about each other and agree to share Hajime for the summer, because they both have to leave when the season ends. What could have been a shallow premise actually leans into the emotional weight of that ticking clock, people getting close knowing it won't last. This is a 2-episode OVA from 2006, adapted from a visual novel, and the character art comes from Tony Taka, whose designs have a very distinctive look if you've seen his work before. The animation quality holds up well for the genre. If you've watched something like Bible Black and appreciated when these productions put genuine care into their presentation, this sits in similar territory. Fans of Kite who don't mind slower, more emotionally grounded pacing between the explicit content will find something here worth their time. The whole thing has a melancholy summer-ending atmosphere that gives it a bit more texture than you'd typically expect from a 2-episode hentai OVA.

robert_rifle★★★☆☆EP 1Natsume whispering for him to be quiet because people might hear was actually the most stressful part of the whole episode
garou_gusher_121★★★★☆EP 1I did not expect the emotional side to be this heavy, especially since the chemistry between Natsume and Hajime in the shed felt so intense.
venusaur★★★★☆EP 1My heart actually hurt when Asa looked at the calendar and realized how few days they have left together before they have to leave Hajime
sephiroth★★★☆☆EP 1The way the girls are so casual about sharing him is weird but the art style is really pretty and captures that sticky summer heat perfectly
zangetsu_zen★★★★☆EP 1That summer lighting and the cicadas buzzing in the background made the scene in the hallway feel so tense and quiet when they were trying to stay hidden
megumi_mantra★★★☆☆EP 1Some of the cuts from the source material were a bit disappointing, but the chemistry between the leads at the pool was still very charming
susanoo_slayer_49★★★☆☆EP 1The intimacy during the camping trip was beautifully animated, and the production values made the whole sequence feel much more grounded
monk_maz_koshia_296★★★★☆EP 1I was surprised by how much the soundtrack helped set the mood during the more private moments between Hajime and Asa at the campsite
soei_shadow_153★★★☆☆EP 1I really enjoyed the visuals because everything looked so clean and fluid especially during the pool scenes and that final part in the tent but it kind of sucks that they cut the threesome from the visual novel since that was such a big moment for the characters and I was looking forward to seeing how they would animate the whole group dynamic together
vile_tyrant_juju★★★☆☆EP 1The connection between the leads felt much more meaningful because they actually spent time together at the pool before the camping trip
hari_257★★★★☆EP 1That ending in the tent was a huge step up from the usual stuff and the way they handled the lighting and sound made it feel intense
kami_kaze_80★★★★☆EP 1I thought the camping trip scene lived up to the hype and the animation quality for the intimate moments was way above average
grusha★★★★☆EP 1It sucks that Juzo was cut entirely from this version because the visual novel had a much more interesting group dynamic with him included
yiga_clan★★★★☆EP 1The animation during the swim club practice was so fluid and the way Asa interacted with Hajime felt natural for a summer romance
gobta_goblin_154★★★★☆EP 1The pool scenes had such a nice aesthetic and watching Asa join the club was a great way to start their relationship
sakuramysunshine★★★★☆EP 1Watching Hajime spend time with both girls knowing the summer is almost over is actually depressing and the music really sells that lonely feeling
miriam_368★★★☆☆EP 1Tony Taka art looks so good and the summer vibes are really peaceful but the girls leaving at the end makes every scene feel kind of sad
parella★★★★☆EP 1It is crazy how fast the summer goes by in these stories and the looming departure makes every scene feel bittersweet
kensuke_aida★★★☆☆EP 1The melancholy feeling of the tennis club scenes really got to me, and the way the sunset lighting makes everything look so beautiful but fleeting is perfect. It is weird seeing a story where they just agree to share him instead of fighting. I usually prefer a clear winner but knowing they both have to leave anyway makes my heart ache for them.
arven_356★★★★☆EP 1Asa moving so fast with Hajime caught me off guard because it usually takes longer in these stories and it made the atmosphere feel way more desperate
