im honestly so happy to finally see arata back again. the emotional reunion between everyone just hit so incredibly hard. i am kind of nervous about all of this turning into a massive romance drama though because i really just like the focus on their friendships lowkey.

This episode was so incredibly intense and im not talking about the actual matches. The duration is normal but it literally felt ten times longer just because of how heavy everything was. The drama is getting so wild outside of the game right now it is insane.

The pacing at the start feels a bit slow, with Chihaya trying to catch up on her grades. The tension builds during the karuta match, and Arata’s scenes look really cool. It eases up with a long-awaited reunion. Really hyped to see the three of them play together!

It was a unexpected situation for the characters. I think chihaya needs also to make an effort for his academics for her future.

This episode showed how far Taichi has grown as a person. He used to be a coward as a kid, but now he's someone whose main goal is never to run away. The reunion was beautifully done, and seeing the animation for Arata's match was beautiful 10/10

After a long time waiting, we finally get another glimpse at Arata. The visualization of water on him, the cooler color usage, it was very fitting for him and his playstyle. But on the otherside, we also get to see Taichi's feeling about all of this, how crushed he really felt.
