Synopsis

The search for the remains of Emperor Gaz continues. Chaika still in search of knowing who she really is and what her purpose is. Similarly, the Red Chaika continues the search for the rest of Emperor Gaz's remains. The Gillette corporation continues the mission to catch every last Chaika. In their adventure they give a revealing account kept secret by the Emperor, which Chaika, Fredrica, Toru, and Akari decide to uncover.

The dialogue between Toru and Chaika was beautiful. We get to see her become vulnerable about her identity and being stuck between a rock and a hard place- what is causing her to still continue collecting remains knowing what she knows now. Nice pace and build up through this episode.

Okay, the technology references here are actually insane man I love that. It feels like it was ahead of its time. I like how everyone was collaborative in this episode to escape the lab. I wish there was a little bit more combat but other than that it was a good watch.

Okay, it felt like the soundtrack in this episode made sense. It built the tense and suspense. I enjoyed the pace of this episode. The way the origins of the island and its activities are unpacked. I loved that.

I enjoyed the playful nature at the beginning. Which is what was needed for the characters to just unwind for a bit before embarking on this mission. I wish there was more build up to them looking for the remains. I still Enjoyed the episode though, it was filled with emotion.
