EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 1203's comparatively grounded Detective Boys case, Episode 1204 raises the stakes considerably by placing Conan and Azusa in direct peril. This episode opens the first half of a two-part storyline, with the abduction and its immediate fallout taking center stage. Episode 1205 will carry the consequences forward, making this a critical watch before continuing.
