I must say I much prefer how the events unfold here than in the video game. In this episode, we explore the anxieties of Ritsu, our protagonist, who isn't sure if what's happening to him is a problem in his own mind or something more. It often happens in other stories that the protagonist's transition from the status quo to a revolution of their own existence is almost automatic: "Oh, everything I knew was a lie, no problem." I really appreciate that here they take the time to develop Ritsu's internal conflict, as he doesn't know if he's going insane. Another thing I like is the use of music. In the video game, the integration of music is very important, and in this anime, they managed to make the scenes fit perfectly with μ's songs.
