EPISODE REVIEWS

Talk about an absolute bloodbath on the pitch! Seeing Niko and Chigiri literally break their bodies to stop Shidou was devastating, but that Dragon Drive bicycle kick from Shidou completely stole the show. Thankfully, Reo’s instant chameleon copy saved our sanity.

Shidou takes to the field and almost immediately shakes up the game to where Blue Lock has to use some subs. Also not Sae and Shidou dang near flirting on the field dude. Also yea the CGI kind of threw me off.

Chaos takes over as new players shift the game’s rhythm completely. The intensity spikes with bold plays and unpredictable moves, making every moment feel decisive. It’s explosive, strategic, and packed with standout highlights.

Definitely the most enjoyable episode of the season for me so far. Some scenes were done pretty well imo, such as Shidou's goal, Hiori's kick, and Reo's chameleon defense. I gotta say though, the show's constant use of the Sae walking with his hands on his hips image is nice.

barou coming onto the pitch was pure chaos. i loved seeing him ignore every single instruction just to hunt down the ball himself. the way he used his massive frame to bulldoze through the u20 defense while everyone else was frozen was peak king behavior.

We finally see adaptation at its finest. Strategy evolves mid-play, and it’s satisfying watching the mental growth translate into execution.

High stakes Isagi takes bold risks 🧠 Every decision could make or break them. Adrenaline keeps the tension maxed out.

My my, Shidou enters and the episode treats him like a natural disaster damn, literally describing him as playing “1-on-21.” The episode nails the feeling of a set piece: crowd chanting, everyone overthinking, the pressure cooker of a free kick. Well done.

I really love the worldbuild and the character interactions in this anime, how they see one another really interests me, they really did a great job with this one in my opinion. it is a must watch.
