I know everyone says to skip the Bount arc because it is filler, but Kariya is such a massive jerk that it keeps me watching. He just tossed those humans aside like trash after they opened the gate for him and it really showed how much of a villain he is. Plus seeing Mayuri and Shunsui argue in the meeting was great

I honestly don't know why everyone says to skip this arc, because seeing Kariya just casually murder those citizens who helped him was pretty dark for a filler episode. It makes him a much better villain than I expected. Plus the tension between Mayuri and Shunsui during the meeting felt more real than most of the canon dialogue recently and it was fun seeing them actually get into it
