For a second there, I couldn't even process Ichigo getting so thoroughly wrecked by Kariya; it was just too much to see him so utterly defeated. And then, just when I was wondering if all hope was lost, Ganju bursting in on that crazy boar gave me such a jolt of 'what is he *doing* here?!' mixed with a weird relief that *someone* showed up.
