I can't believe the anime is actually over for now, and seeing that see you again message at the end really messed with me. Ichigo choosing to bring Ginjo's body back for a proper burial felt important, because it proves he hasn't lost his soul after everything he went through. The Fullbringer arc had its slow moments, but this finale delivered a really emotional ending for Ichigo.

That title card at the end felt special because changing history unchanging heart is such a beautiful phrase for this show and it made me want to go back and rewatch everything

That final look at Rukia and the rest of the soul reapers before the screen faded to black felt like saying goodbye to old friends and it was a heavy way to finish the series

The way Ichigo just took everything Ginjo threw at him proved he is back at the top of his game and that new form looks incredible in motion

My heart sank when Rukia said they are always saying goodbye and I hope the anime comes back eventually so they can actually hang out again

Ichigo bringing Ginjo back to the human world for a burial hit me hard, because he is finally forcing the Soul Society to change their old ways

I actually teared up a bit when Ichigo decided to take Ginjo's body back to the human world so he could be buried there because it shows how kind he is to everyone

The animation during that final clash with Ginjo was insane and having Ichigo look that powerful again made the whole Fullbring arc worth it

The animation and overall style for the whole episode looked great and those updated soul reaper captain designs are easily the best they have ever looked in the show

Riruka jumping in front of that attack for Rukia was such a great way to show how much she changed and it felt like she finally found something worth protecting

Ginjo wondering if things would be different if he had met Ichigo earlier was a gut punch and he was such a tragic character to watch in those final moments

Ginjo had every right to be angry at Soul Society and his end felt really tragic despite everything he did to Ichigo and his friends

Watching Ichigo stand his ground against the Captains to get Ginjo a proper burial shows he grew past being a simple soldier for them and his maturity is unreal, and that final scene with Rukia where they say goodbye felt so final and it hurts thinking this might be the last time we see them for years

The way the credits rolled with all the characters we've met over the years made the whole experience feel so final, and even though the arc was slow, the ending made it worth the wait.

Seeing Ichigo ask to bury Ginjo in the human world showed how much he respects his enemies and it was a perfect way to end his journey for now

It is wild how much the captains changed their tune about Ichigo, especially when you think back to how cold they were at the start of the Soul Society arc

The animation during the final sword clash was absolutely stunning and the way they handled the spirit pressure effects looked beautiful even if the fight was quick

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 366 closes out the 'Lost Substitute Shinigami' arc and serves as the final episode of the original Bleach anime run, bringing resolution to the conflicts and revelations that escalated across the preceding episodes. It builds directly on the confrontations established in episode 365, delivering closure to Ichigo's arc within this storyline while reflecting on his broader journey. The episode also functions as a narrative bridge, leaving enough open for the series' eventual return with the Thousand-Year Blood War arc years later.
