I actually liked the part where Nozomi used her kido to give Ichigo his energy back, because it felt like a real turning point after seeing him struggle so much. The whole invading army arc has some hits and misses but Yushima is a terrifying antagonist and seeing the friends unite on Sokyoku Hill was a highlight for me.

Everything feels hopeless when Yushima has that much power and even the strongest soul reapers look like children next to him

This filler is dragging on so long and Ichigo losing his powers for the tenth time is getting old

The animation during the big clash on the hill was great, and seeing the group protect Ichigo while his reiatsu was failing really sold the friendship theme.

I am ready for the main story to come back but watching Kon try his best for Nozomi was actually kind of sweet

That entrance by Rukia and the others on the hill really hit for me and I was glad to see the whole squad back together to help Ichigo out

Seeing Hollow Ichigo take that hit for Rukia was so weird because he usually just wants to destroy everything

Yushima is way too strong for a filler villain and everyone is just throwing themselves at a brick wall while we wait for the manga content

Nozomi healing Ichigo was a heavy moment and you can tell she really cares about him now

Watching Ichigo just break down after Tsukishima messed with everyone was absolutely gut-wrenching, I mean, he's always been the strong one for his friends. But then the rain started, and it instantly brought back memories of Masaki, making his raw grief feel so much more profound and I just wanted to jump through the screen and give him a hug right there.

It's genuinely frustrating to watch Yushima just dominate the captains like he did; it really makes me question how effective the Gotei 13 is if one fused guy can make them look this helpless. But then, when Rukia, Renji, and all of them channeled their energy into Nozomi to revive Ichigo, it hit me how deep their bonds go, a true moment of sacrifice that felt totally earned after everything they've been through.

The way Inaba and Nozomi finally fused gave me chills, honestly; it felt genuinely intense and dramatic, pulling me right into the urgency of that moment. I didn't expect a filler episode to convey such a powerful sense of dread, but their combined form looked truly formidable.

Seriously, what's with Yushima just being ridiculously overpowered? I'm honestly so drained watching all the captains just slam into a brick wall trying to fight him, it's starting to feel less like a dramatic struggle and more like a cruel, unending loop for them and me.

Ichigo must have felt the immense pressure as everyone poured their reiatsu into him, and I just couldn't imagine carrying all that hope against Yushima. He's always the one to step up, but seeing the sheer volume of power entrusted to him made me realize how truly isolated that kind of burden can be, even with all their support.

I seriously breathed a sigh of relief watching everyone team up to back Nozomi, especially with Ichigo looking so utterly lost in that hollow form. It just reinforced for me how much they all truly rely on each other when things get really desperate, and that’s what I love about this crew.

I mean, this filler arc's fine, I guess, but it's getting harder and harder to just pretend we're not all holding our breath, waiting for the actual, world-ending stakes to return; it almost feels disrespectful to the gravity of what Ichigo and the others are truly up against.

I was seriously relieved when Nozomi used kido to restore Ichigo's energy, because I was starting to get really worried seeing his hollow powers go so wild again like they did before.

When Ichigo's hollow powers flared up again, I couldn't help but feel a pang of dread for him, that kind of raw power is just so unstable. But then I started getting genuinely annoyed seeing the captains, who are supposed to be the elite, constantly falling to the same opponent; it makes me question if their training is truly equipping them for these kinds of threats, or if they've just grown complacent.

I'm really starting to feel let down by how easily Yushima is wiping the floor with the captains; it just doesn't sit right with me after all the incredible power we've seen them display in the past. Are they holding back, or has this fused character truly surpassed everyone so completely that they can't even put up a decent fight?

I seriously teared up watching everyone pool their spiritual energy for Ichigo, it just felt so right after everything they've been through together, like, of course they'd do that for him.

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode continues the anime-original Reigai arc, picking up after Episode 338's completion of the Nozomi-Inaba fusion and escalating the conflict between the original Soul Reapers and their impostor counterparts. Positioned deep into this filler stretch at episode 339 of 366, it serves as a bridge toward the arc's climactic battles while giving the supporting cast extended action sequences. The canon Thousand-Year Blood War setup still lies ahead once this filler arc concludes.
