Those jarringly close-up faces in the middle of crucial emotional exchanges totally pulled me out of what should've been incredibly dramatic moments. I just couldn't reconcile the intended gravitas with such an odd animation choice; it made me wonder if they ran out of budget for proper expressions or something, because it really undercut the Bleach intensity I expect.
