I seriously felt for Kon there, seeing him so desperately try to snap that catatonic guy out of it in the prison. It's so classic Kon to put everything on the line, even for someone who seems beyond help, because he's just so set on protecting Nozomi and everyone in the Soul Society; it really makes you appreciate his drive.
