My head was spinning trying to understand Urahara and his explanation for the suspended reishi because it felt like he was just making up new rules for the Dangai as he went along

I am so tired of Ichigo losing his powers only for him to find some weird way to get them back ten minutes later and the logic with the cleaner reishi makes zero sense at all

trying to fish energy out of the soul cleaner is a very weird idea and it feels way too convenient for ichigo to just get a power up like that

taking away his powers just to give them back through a random crackpot scheme in the dangai is a choice and it makes the stakes feel like they do not even exist

That sequence with the Cleaner looked way too good for a filler episode and the budget definitely went into those visuals tonight

I am totally confused about how past Ichigo and future Ichigo were both in the Dangai and who saved who first or if it is just a big loop

the dangai looked surprisingly cool this week, but my brain still hurts trying to understand how retrieving reishi from the cleaner is supposed to work since that thing usually just eats everything it touches

it is basically impossible to care about the fake gotei 13 clones when the real plot is on hold and you are just waiting for the show to get back to the actual source material

another episode where the title promises something cool like a second ichigo but it turns out to be more weird reigai stuff that feels completely disconnected from the actual soul society history

you really cannot expect me to feel anything during these sad moments when the camera is just staring at that tiny stuffed animal because kon makes everything look like a big joke

The paradox of Ichigo seeing himself inside the Dangai is definitely a lot to wrap your head around, but the animation looked almost like a movie during those scenes so it is easy to overlook

I remember reading the manga chapters where he finally gets his powers back and it feels so earned, but then this extra story episode does this weird move where he loses them and grabs reishi from the cleaner within the same arc and it feels like the writers are just stalling for time because they ran out of real story to tell

watching these filler episodes is such a struggle and you can tell exactly why people started dropping the show when this arc was airing because it just kills all the momentum from the fight before

the animation during that whole soul cleaner sequence was actually pretty decent even if the story is just a giant excuse to keep this filler arc going and going forever

Honestly, watching Ichigo struggle so much after seeing him dominate in the last arc really got to me; it's a stark reminder of just how much he's always had to sacrifice. The whole idea of him having to fuse with his past self in the Dangai is wild, and even if it's just filler, it makes me think about all the times he's pushed past his limits, and how this might be the most desperate push yet.

The sheer desperation in Ichigo's eyes as he finally confronted his inner hollow felt so real; I was honestly on the edge of my seat, wondering if he would ever truly tame that monstrous side. For me, seeing that internal battle unfold made the whole Dangai training feel less like a stepping stone and more like the ultimate crucible for his very identity.

I'm surprised this filler arc is still keeping me hooked, even though I feel like it's dragging on a bit. This whole "second Ichigo" thing is genuinely unsettling, and I can't help but wonder if it's connected to his inner Hollow issues from earlier in the series.

I knew Ichigo would just throw himself into the Dangai even when he was so worn out; it's completely in character for him to just act on instinct when someone he cares about is in danger, and man, my heart was pounding the whole time. it really makes me wonder if he ever stops to think things through.

Wow, when Ichigo came face to face with his past self, I was genuinely shocked and a little heartbroken seeing him like that. This whole idea of fusing with his old power just feels like such a dramatic, last-ditch effort, and I'm honestly nervous about what that'll mean for him.

Despite the jaw-dropping animation that finally graced the Dangai scenes, I couldn't shake the feeling of impatience creeping in. All that talking just felt like a frustrating stall, especially when I was just desperate to see Ichigo finally unleash everything after such a long journey to get there.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting deep in Bleach's later filler stretch at episode 335 of 366, this follows directly from Ichigo's spiritual energy depletion and centers on regrouping before the next offensive. It serves as a bridge episode, building toward the upcoming infiltration of the Technological Development Department and the confrontation with Kageroza. For viewers tracking the filler arc, it's a necessary setup piece — skip it only if you're already planning to bypass the entire non-canon storyline.
