I loved seeing Yoruichi jump in to save Hitsugaya because watching him just stand there and take those hits from the Reigai was actually painful

Kenpachi taking out clones with that brute strength is exactly what we needed to see after all the emotional drama with the captains and their doubles

Toshiro really cannot catch a break and seeing two Momos at once is just the ultimate nightmare for him since he refuses to fight back even when they are fake

Hitsugaya getting stabbed by Hinamori again made me feel so bad for him and I seriously think the writers have a grudge against that kid for making him suffer like this

The way Byakuya and Renji handled those clones was so efficient, but it really highlights how much Toshiro struggles with his own personal feelings during a fight

Seeing Hitsugaya finally get some form of closure with Hinamori, even if it was a reigai, really felt like a moment I’d been waiting for, and it hit me how much pain he's been carrying from their past. The intensity of their fight, especially after all that history, just totally outshone any of those fake Karakura Town battles for me.

I can't even tell you how much it bugs me that Ichigo is just casually using his full Shinigami powers again, like all those dramatic sacrifices and the power loss he went through meant absolutely nothing, but then I see the fight scenes and honestly, the animation is so ridiculously crisp it almost makes me forget my irritation.

I mean, Kenpachi against a Soifon clone? That's just wild, and honestly, I was way more invested in their fight than whatever was going on with Nozomi. It felt like a classic Bleach showdown, and my attention was totally locked in, even if it was just a filler.

I was actually really invested in this filler arc, and the animation was way better than I expected. Seeing Toshiro have to face a fake Hinamori was such a gut punch, especially after everything with Aizen, it's like he's being forced to relive that trauma, and I was so relieved when the real Hinamori stepped in to protect him.

Hitsugaya getting stabbed by "Hinamori" again instantly made me grit my teeth, thinking, "How many times are they going to do this to him?" I just couldn't believe he fell for such an obvious trap, even with his history with Aizen, and it made me feel so frustrated for him in that moment.

My stomach clenched watching Toshiro battle that eerie Hinamori illusion; it was pure torture seeing him relive the past, especially with Aizen's shadow still looming over her. How do you fight someone who looks exactly like the person you tried so hard to protect, knowing it's a cruel mockery of your deepest fears?

I was genuinely blown away by how good the Kenpachi and Soifon fight looked; I mean, for a filler, it really felt like the studio poured their heart and soul into every frame, almost like they were trying to make up for something. It just looked so much sharper than a lot of the canon episodes, which kinda makes me wonder what was going on behind the scenes to get that kind of quality.

My gut reaction to Ichigo regaining his powers was just pure disbelief, after seeing him literally fade away from being a Soul Reaper. For me, it kind of dulls the profound, heartbreaking impact of his original sacrifice, making that whole Aizen fight seem less like a true end.

Hinamori, *again*, betraying Hitsugaya was a gut punch; I was just so frustrated for him, wondering when he'll ever catch a break from people hurting him. But when the genuine Hinamori threw herself in the way, I couldn't help but feel a flicker of intense hope that this devastating moment might finally be what pushes him to truly grow past his past and become more self-reliant.

Hitsugaya's hesitation, seeing that reigai mimic Hinamori's memories, truly made my stomach drop. I felt so much for him in that moment; it was clear his past trauma from Aizen's betrayal is still an open wound, making him question everything even now.

When that second Hinamori showed up and actually stabbed Toshiro again, I couldn't believe it; that was such a cheap shot. Seeing him look so utterly devastated just tore me up, like he'd been betrayed all over again.

I seriously thought Toshiro was a goner, he looked so utterly defeated that he was just letting those fakes come at him. Thank goodness Yoruichi swooped in with her shunko, it was such a relief to see her in action and save him from that mess.

When the Reigai started using Toshiro's own memories against him like that, it honestly made my stomach drop; I just couldn't believe how messed up and personal that attack was. Watching those stabs tear through him, it wasn't just physical agony for me, but a gut-wrenching feeling of watching his past literally consume him, and I genuinely worried about how he'd ever bounce back from something so uniquely cruel.

It was genuinely crushing to watch Toshiro get manipulated by those Hinamori clones; it felt like such a gut punch seeing him fall for it again, showing me he's still so vulnerable when it comes to Aizen's twisted legacy. My heart just breaks for him, realizing he's probably always going to carry that fear of losing Hinamori to something evil.

Watching Ichigo literally sacrifice his strength just to get back to Soul Society has me totally on edge, like, doesn't he know how dangerous it is to push himself this hard? I'm worried this desperate move is going to cost him everything he's fought for up until now.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned deep in the anime-original Reigai invasion arc, this episode follows Byakuya's confrontation with Hitsugaya's Reigai and escalates the conflict by spreading battles across multiple fronts. It further develops Kageroza's threat level while giving Hitsugaya a dedicated spotlight episode. The next episode shifts focus to the Kuchiki family's pride and continues peeling back the mysteries behind the Reigai and their creator.
