Aizen's arrogance here was just unreal, I mean, he genuinely thought he had Ichigo beat, completely missing the fact that Ichigo was operating on a whole different level. It was so dramatic watching Aizen's smugness while knowing he was about to get a huge surprise, and I couldn't help but feel a little thrilled for what Ichigo was about to unleash.
