Matsumoto's casual indifference to Hisagi's genuine efforts really threw me for a loop; I kept expecting her to acknowledge his feelings, even a little, but she just continued the charade. It makes me wonder if she’s truly that oblivious to romance or if there's a more calculated, almost manipulative, side to her I hadn't seen before.
