I honestly didn't expect much from this filler, but I'm so glad I watched it; seeing Hisagi, usually so stoic and dedicated to his duties, completely lose his cool because of Matsumoto's carefree antics at that hot spring inn was just pure gold. It really highlights their bizarre, dramatic dynamic so perfectly, and honestly, I needed that lighter moment before the true intensity of everything comes crashing down again.
