After the sheer intensity leading up to Ichigo's next move, I was absolutely primed for the duel, so for this episode to be a full-on recap of the Arrancar arc felt like a cruel joke, especially with how high my adrenaline was. It just felt like such a dramatic misstep right when things were about to explode.
