This episode was an unexpectedly good break in the middle of all this filler, because it actually develops Nanao as a character instead of just having her do paperwork. The way she interacts with the Katen Kyokotsu kunoichi spirit feels like it is hinting at her family secret and the sacred sword, long before the manga even got there which is crazy
