Despite the inherent drama of the Zanpakuto turning against their masters, I find myself increasingly frustrated that we're not closer to the real battle. This whole subplot feels like a grand theatrical delay before Ichigo can finally confront Aizen and the Espada, and I'm itching for that showdown.
