I'm just so confused why we're suddenly dealing with these random sword beasts when we *just* had the actual Zanpakuto spirits doing their thing! It feels like such a step down, and I can't help but wonder if the story's just spinning its wheels now, especially after how much I enjoyed seeing the spirits' true forms before.
