I was genuinely shocked watching Komamura get absolutely wrecked by his own Bankai; it felt so wrong for a soul reaper's ultimate power to betray them like that. Seriously, that giant thing turning on him was just brutal, and it makes me wonder if this whole rebellion arc is going to keep hitting us with these kinds of dramatic twists, which is way better than the usual filler we get.
