I actually found it pretty cool seeing Ichigo in his regular life, even with that wild orange hair, and it really made me think about how much he's changed since he first met Rukia. It was a nice little dramatic touch getting to see how he and Chad got so tight, understanding their bond better makes everything else that much more intense.
