I'm honestly kinda frustrated watching Hitsugaya and Harribel just stand there staring, like, can we get to the actual fight already? Meanwhile, their subordinates are seriously getting torn apart and losing limbs just to summon those terrifying monsters, which makes me think this whole 'waiting game' is just a way to wear everyone else down first.
